Rustic Rust finish on Single Track Bypass Hangers - EXCLUSIVELY from The Barn Door Hardware Store

The Single Track Bypass© Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit,
offered exclusively from The Barn Door Hardware Store creates efficiency in tight spaces
offering a two-door system on one track - SAVES SPACE

This kit is NOT DESIGNED to use with track that is wider than the door opening.
Excess track length will allow doors to slide out of the way but they will come out of the floor guides on ground.

This kit allows for two of your beautiful barn doors to slide one door over another making it perfect for closets, pantries, or possibly even multiple openings on the same wall.

NOTE: the two doors together must be approx. 6" wider than the opening. The doors overlap each other approx. 3" - the width of the wheels. Example: if you have a 48" opening. your doors need to be at least 54" total width - 27" each. PLEASE call with questions.

The outside door will stick out from the wall approx. 5".

Above the door you need approx 7" clearance for hangers, wheels, and track.

The max weight limit for this system is 250lbs total or 125/door.

You chose your barn door track length - in this case it is the width of your "opening" and we will ship you: the track, 2 sets of hangers (one set standard and one set bypass) with 3" cast steel wheels (4 hangers total), spacers,  2 L-shaped floor mounted door guides designed to fit doors of any thickness, 2 safety anti-jump clips to stop any possible derailment and ALL hardware to attach the doors to track and track to the wall.

This hardware kit comes with everything needed for installation.

  • All track lengths over 7 feet will be shipped in two pieces (8 feet for powdercoated option!)
  • Steel color and finish can vary from batch to batch and may not be as shown on website
  • Our sliding barn door hardware kits will support the weight of all of our barn doors.

I ordered the unfinished 12" double bypass, it arrived within a couple days. It was packaged safely and secur, Installation was easy and the customer who's house we put it in loves the look. Overall I would highly recommend this company to everyone. And I will be buying more in the future. Great job!

    Very flexible Set-up

I got the hardware with an unfinished look. It was one of only a few that had a bypass single track system. It arrived quickly and was securely packaged. It was a challenging task to mount the hardware and make sure that I cleared moulding surrounding the opening. I used standard doors to hide a laundry area. The directions and hardware have the set up with up to 2" wide doors. So smaller doors showed bigger gaps from the wall and in between doors. I made adjustments in the spacer to tighten the gaps. I appears that extra hardware was sent; a good idea for the just in case. The look is simple and not with an over whelming of hardware mounted to the wall.

    Even better than I expected!

Love this hardware for my barn doors. I have two doors and not enough wall space for them to move away from each other, I needed them to bypass. All other systems I looked at had double tracks for this to happen. This single track system allows my two doors to bypass but looks more streamlined. Love the simple look of the hardware, it went perfect with my 80 year old reclaimed wood that was used to build the doors. I also really liked that we were able to get this system unfinished and without holes drilled so we could truly make it customized for the space.
