Generic Brand Shipping Information

  • Free Shipping Within the Continental U.S.: We offer free shipping on all generic steel hardware orders to addresses within the continental United States.
  • Shipping From: All generic brand products are shipped from our warehouse in Georgia.
  • P.O. Box Shipping Not Available: We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes at this time.
  • Shipping to Canada: We charge a minimum of $50 for shipping to Canada. Shipping costs to Canada vary based on the weight of the order.
  • Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories: We charge a minimum of $200 for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Shipping costs to these locations vary based on the weight of the order.
  • Processing Times: Standard raw steel hardware orders typically ship within 3 business days. Stain finished doors and custom orders may take 8-10 business or longer, depending on the season.

  • Production Time: All Goldberg Brothers hardware is made to order. Please allow 5-7 days for handles and flushes to ship and 10-15 days for hardware kits to ship.
  • Shipping From: Goldberg Brothers hardware ships from Colorado.

Rustica Shipping Information

  • Free Shipping Within the Continental U.S.: We offer free shipping on all Rustica orders to addresses within the Continental United States.
  • Production Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for your door to be packed and shipped.
  • Shipping From: Rustica ships from Utah. 

Door to Door Co Shipping Information

Shipping Availability & Lead Times

Door to Door ships to the 48 contiguous U.S. states and the District of Columbia. For deliveries to Hawaii or Alaska, please contact us for a personalized shipping quote. Door Orders typically process within 12-15 business days.

Understanding Your Freight Delivery

Unlike standard parcel services (like UPS or FedEx), door orders are shipped via motor freight carriers (e.g., Estes, Old Dominion Truck Lines). This means your delivery will be:

  • Heavy & Bulky: Doors arrive on pallets, crated, and weigh at least 125 lbs.
  • Appointment Required: Freight deliveries require a scheduled appointment. An adult (18+) must be present to accept and sign for the delivery. Missed appointments may incur a $75 re-delivery fee and potential storage charges.
  • Curbside Delivery: Shipping fees cover standard delivery to the end of your residential driveway. The driver will move the crated doors to the back of the trailer. If over 150 lbs, a liftgate will likely be used to lower the crate to the ground.
  • Your Responsibility to Unload: Drivers do not assist with unloading, unpacking, or moving your doors beyond the drop-off point. We highly recommend having assistance ready! Removing the doors from their crate (a crowbar or hammer can help) makes them easier to manage individually (approx. 60 lbs per door).

Crucial Delivery Inspection & Damage Policy

YOUR SIGNATURE IS IMPORTANT!

Upon arrival, carefully inspect your order BEFORE signing the delivery receipt.

  • Check for Visible Damage: Look for any tears in shrink wrap, broken straps, or damage to the crate or doors themselves.
  • Document Damage IMMEDIATELY: If you find any damage or missing straps/shrink wrap, DO NOT SIGN the delivery receipt until the driver notes the damage and provides an "exception number." Take clear pictures of all crate and door damage. You may open the crate in the driver's presence for inspection.
  • No Claim Without Notation: If you sign the delivery receipt without damage noted, you are confirming the freight arrived "in good order, free and clear of visible damage." We cannot file a claim or offer refunds/replacements for damage not reported at the time of delivery.

Post-Delivery Inspection & Claims

  • 48-Hour Inspection Window: You must open and thoroughly inspect your entire order within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Reporting Damage/Missing Items:
    • Damage: All damage claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt. Contact us immediately with documentation. We are not responsible for claims reported outside this window.
    • Missing Items: Notify us via email or phone within 7 days of receipt if any items are missing.
  • International Shipments: We are only responsible for claims with freight carriers delivering from our warehouse to U.S. addresses. If you arrange further international shipping from a U.S. destination, you are responsible for any claims arising from that onward transit.

Packaging & Disposal

Door to Door packages your doors securely to prevent damage. Please be prepared for excess packaging materials (crates, straps, etc.) and have a plan for their removal and disposal. Drivers are not responsible for removing any packaging.

General Shipping Policy

  • Please note: Shipping carriers may experience delays due to unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to keep you informed of any shipping updates. Once the shipment is in the hand of the carriers, we don't have control over the delivery date. 
  • Change of Address: If you need to change your shipping address after your order has been dispatched, the carrier will charge a $25 fee for redirection. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange this for you.
