Common Questions

Three situations: your floor is finished hardwood, tile, or any surface you don't want to drill into (mount to wall instead); your door doesn't have a slot in the bottom (use as U-guide); or you want the option to change the mounting method later without buying new hardware. The standard T-guide is simpler when none of those apply.

Rotate the bracket and screw it to the baseboard or wall rather than the floor — the guide piece adjusts the same way regardless of orientation. Wall mounting is the right choice when you have finished hardwood, tile, or LVP you can't drill into. The only practical difference is where you drive the mounting screws: into the floor for floor-mount, into the baseboard or wall studs for wall-mount. If you're mounting to drywall without a stud behind it, use wall anchors. The All-in-One works identically in either position.

Yes — used as a U-guide, the All-in-One works with doors that have edge wrap installed, since the edge wrap creates an unslotted door surface. Set it up as a U-guide rather than a T-guide for any door that doesn't have a bottom slot.
