Everything needed to complete a farmhouse barn door installation — handles, flush pulls, floor guides, latches, and soft close — in matte black, arch bronze, rustic brown, and brushed nickel / silver metallic. Hardware kits don't include handles or a latch, so these are the pieces most commonly added after an order ships. Plan for them before checkout to avoid a second shipment.
What a complete farmhouse installation needs
- Bar pull handle — for the room-facing side of the door. A 12 in bar pull in matte black or arch bronze is the classic farmhouse choice. Browse our handles collection.
- Flush pull — for the wall-facing side if the door needs to be operated from both sides. A recessed Goldberg Brothers flush pull or face-mount house value line flush pull. Browse our flush pulls collection.
- Floor guide — included in most hardware kits as a floor-mounted T guide. If you have finished hardwood, tile, or LVP you can't drill into, you'll need a wall-mounted floor guide instead — available in this collection. Browse our floor guides collection.
- Latch — keeps the door deliberately closed. The Goldberg Brothers Privacy Latch is the right choice for single sliding farmhouse doors; the Goldberg Brothers Biparting Privacy Latch for biparting setups. Browse our locks and latches collection.
- Soft close — available for single sliding and double bypass configurations. Prevents the door from slamming and eliminates drift. Most useful for bedroom doors, shared walls, and high-traffic openings.
Standard duty Goldberg Brothers kits include a trim clearance kit. Heavy duty kits do not — add one before checkout if casing surrounds your opening.
