Barn Door Edge Pull Handles

Three situations: you want both door faces completely clear of hardware; your door is used from a position where pulling the edge is more natural than reaching for a face-mounted handle; or you're installing bifold doors where folding the panel requires gripping the edge. Edge pulls are particularly common on bifold barn door installations — you need to push the folded panel back into position from the edge rather than the face.

No — just a drill. The edge pull mounts to the door edge with screws drilled directly into the door. No routing or chiseling required. Mark the hole positions with the hardware held against the door edge, then drill straight through. Standard installation — no specialized tools needed beyond a drill.

Height is proportional to door size. The 3 in and 6 in options are minimal — barely visible when installed. The 10 in and 15 in options are more prominent and easier to grip for doors that see heavy daily use. The 23 in is a statement piece suited to wide or tall panels.
