Hardware kits for modern barn door installations — top mount styles that keep hardware off the door face, hidden roller hardware that mounts to the back of the door concealing it behind the panel, flat top strap for a clean face-mounted look, and stainless steel across all styles for glass panels and outdoor use. Every sliding configuration is covered: single track, single and double bypass, triple bypass, cabinet, and glass door — in matte black, brushed nickel / silver metallic, and stainless. For modern bifold hardware, see our modern bifold collection.
Choosing the right modern hanger style
- J top mount / Straight top mount — mounts to the top edge of the door only. Nothing on the door face. The roller is visible above the door on the track but the door surface stays clean. Available in standard duty and heavy duty.
- Flat top top mount HD — same as top mount but with a flat bracket profile. Heavy duty only. Cleaner geometry for contemporary interiors where the hardware above the door should read minimal.
- Flat top strap HD / Flat top strap SS — face-mounted but without the curved arm of a J-strap. Sits flush on the door face with a clean rectangular profile. More visible than top mount but far cleaner than J-strap.
- Hidden roller — the roller assembly mounts to the back of the door panel, which hangs in front of the track. The hardware on the door is not visible from the room-facing side; the track remains visible at the ends where the door doesn't cover it. The most minimal option for single track installations. See our hidden roller collection.
- Stainless steel — available in J top mount, straight top mount, flat top mount, flat top strap, soft corner strap, and glass door styles. For outdoor use, coastal environments, and refined interior applications. See our full stainless steel collection.
