Solid pine barn door with a frosted glass upper panel and a solid vertical plank lower half — a traditional half-light design that lets natural light into a space while keeping the lower section fully opaque. The glass diffuses light without clear visibility; the solid plank bottom grounds the door visually and provides complete coverage from the floor up. It's a good middle ground between the 2-panel all-glass door and a fully solid panel door. Hardware is not included. See our hardware kits collection for compatible options.
Assembly is more involved than a fully solid door — the glass panel and the plank bottom components both slide into the pre-built frame separately, and the foam dowels in the stiles need to be managed differently for each half. Read the assembly instructions fully before starting. Gloves are required for the glass panel.
One note on finish: the stain applies to both the pine frame and the plank bottom section. White and Tinsmith Gray are applied as a light paint layer — the wood grain remains visible through the finish. The frosted glass panel is not stained regardless of which frame finish you select.
