Common Questions

Yes. The strap rollers mount to the front face of the glass and are visible — this is standard barn door hardware designed for glass panels, not a hidden system. If you're looking for fully concealed hardware, see our hidden roller hardware (for wood panels only).

Yes — holes are required in the glass panel at each roller mounting point. These holes must be pre-drilled by your glass supplier before the panel arrives on-site. Tempered glass cannot be drilled after tempering, so this step must happen before the glass is tempered. Email us for the exact hole specifications to pass to your glass supplier before ordering.

Glass door panels require a Goldberg Brothers handle adapter to accept a standard pull handle — the adapter allows their bar pull and D-pull handles to mount correctly on a glass panel. Browse our handles collection for compatible Goldberg Brothers handles, and email us at info@thebarndoorhardwarestore.com to add the adapter to your order. Note: flush pulls and latches designed for wood doors are not compatible with glass panels.

Yes — select "Hardware for 2 doors" under "Door Hardware" at checkout. Two glass panels slide from opposite ends of the track and meet in the center when closed. Each panel needs clear wall space on its respective side equal to one panel width.

Yes. The included floor-mounted T guide constrains the bottom of the glass panel and prevents swing. If you have finished flooring you can't drill into, a wall-mounted floor guide is available separately. Browse our floor guides collection.
