Felt-Lined Barn Door Roller Floor Guide

The felt-lined roller guide mounts to the wall or baseboard — no floor drilling required — and guides the bottom of the door using a single 3/4 in nylon roller with a rubber band and an adhesive-backed felt pad. The roller and felt work together: the roller handles contact when the door swings toward the wall, and the felt pad provides a soft buffer that prevents scratching. The door doesn't need a slot in its bottom edge.

Available in two door thickness configurations: standard for 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 in doors, and extended for 1-1/4 to 2-1/4 in doors. Both are matte black texture powder coat. Common Questions

Why choose this over a floor-mounted T-guide?

Two reasons: you can't or don't want to drill into your floor, or your door doesn't have a slot in the bottom edge. Wall-mounted roller guides attach to the baseboard or wall and don't require any floor penetration — ideal for finished hardwood, tile, or LVP. They also don't require a slot in the door, so any door works regardless of how its bottom edge is finished.

What does the felt pad do?

The adhesive-backed felt pad mounts on the bracket and provides a soft buffer between the bracket and the door. During normal operation the door may contact the roller, the felt, or neither — all of these are normal. If the door seems too wobbly, the roller can be repositioned closer. The felt prevents any metal-on-door contact that could scratch the door face.

Which thickness configuration should I choose?

Select based on your door's actual thickness. If your door is 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 in thick, choose the standard version. If it's between 1-3/4 and 2-1/4 in, choose the extended version. The extended version uses a longer bracket — slightly more prominent — to accommodate the wider door.
