The stainless steel privacy latch is the same paddle-style mortise latch as the Goldberg Brothers powder-coated version — same mechanism, same mortise dimensions, same installation process — with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel core. The paddle sits flush in a routed recess and rotates out to catch a strike plate when the door is closed.
