The roller wall mounted guide is similar to the standard wall mounted guide but adds a large wheel at the end of the bracket. The larger wheel rolls more smoothly as the door enters and exits the guide, making it easier to use in situations where the door repeatedly crosses the guide at an angle — such as when pushing a door into an open position from the side. The tradeoff is a bulkier bracket profile that sits more prominently at the base of the door. No floor drilling, no door slot required.

Available in black powder coat and brushed nickel. Not compatible with bypass configurations. For bypass, use the U Channel wall mounted guide. Ships in 2–3 business days.

When should I choose this over the standard wall mounted guide?

When the door frequently enters the guide at an angle — for example, if the door tends to swing out before being pushed back into the guide, or in a high-traffic space where the door gets pushed rather than slid into position. The large end wheel makes that entry smoother. If the door slides cleanly along the wall and rarely veers out before reaching the guide, the standard wall mounted guide works just as well at a lower profile.

Is the bracket more prominent than the standard version?

Yes — the large wheel adds height and bulk to the end of the bracket. It's a more visible piece of hardware at the base of the door. If minimal visual footprint is a priority, the standard wall mounted guide or one of the Goldberg Brothers roller guides has a lower profile.

Can this be used with bypass configurations?

No — like the standard wall mounted guide, the bracket would obstruct the outer door's travel path in a bypass setup. For bypass, use the U Channel wall mounted guide.
