The straight strap triple track bypass barn door hardware kit in matte black runs three door panels on three independent parallel tracks — one track per door layer. Each door travels completely on its own: no telescoping, no sequential engagement, no waiting for one door to carry another. The front and back door panels use inverted straight strap hangers that mount to the front face of each door; the middle door panel uses a flush straight strap hanger that mounts to the back of the door, positioning it at the correct intermediate depth so all three layers can move freely.
Straight strap supports thicker door panels than the J-strap version — 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 in vs 1-1/4 to 1-3/8 in — making it the right choice when your panels fall in the thicker end of the standard range. Triple-track is the right choice when a double bypass system can't handle the opening width your project requires. The tradeoff: three tracks stacked at the header are visibly bulkier than single or double bypass, and require 10 in of ceiling clearance due to the bracketry supporting all three track positions. If hardware visibility is a concern or ceiling clearance is under 10 in, see our double bypass hardware first.
