The stainless steel cabin hook latch is the same versatile hook and eye mechanism as the matte black version — same function, same installation — built from stainless steel for outdoor, coastal, and high-humidity environments where powder-coated hardware will corrode over time.
The hook mounts to the face of the door; the eye mounts to any wall surface nearby. Drop the hook into the eye to hold the door in position — open, closed, or anywhere in between. Lift it out to release. Works in any orientation as long as the wall is within reach.
The hook is a fixed 4-1/4 in — it does not adjust — so the eye gets mounted wherever that length lands. Mount the hook first, swing it over, and mark the eye where the hook falls with the door resting naturally. Worth checking before you order: your door sits 3/8 in off the wall on standard sliding hardware, 1/2 in on bifold, and 1 in on hidden roller, and casing or baseboard adds to that. If you're
on hidden roller hardware or have deep trim, email us before ordering and we'll confirm the reach.
Brushed stainless. Quick Ship. Ships in 2–3 business days.
