A quick, honest note before you order: barn door kits cost roughly three times the price of a hardware-only kit because the door ships with everything. If you have doors in mind already, or if a local lumber yard can supply panels that better match your space, buying the hardware separately is almost always the better value. We say this to every customer who asks.
The classic single bypass kit covers a single opening with two solid pine doors on one shared track — one door uses a standard hanger, the other uses a bent hanger that offsets it at a different position on the same track. This gives the kit a lower hardware profile on the wall than the double bypass. The tradeoff is that when both doors slide to the same side, the wheels can collide before the doors fully stack behind each other, limiting how far you can open the overlap. This is a pass-through configuration — for a setup where the doors can fully stack without wheel interference, see the Classic Double Bypass kit.
The kit includes both door panels and all bypass hardware in black with your choice of roller style. Floor guides are included. Handles are not included. Soft close is not compatible with single bypass hardware. The doors are vertical plank construction with a horizontal mid-rail. Decorative diagonal panels are included with both doors and optional to install.
Available in 11 stain options plus unfinished. Unfinished ships in 2–3 business days. Stained options add 5 business days (7–8 total). Both doors and all hardware ship together in one delivery.
