Common Questions

Match the flush pull height to your bar pull length on the other side. Goldberg Brothers pull sets pair these deliberately: the small set uses a 7 in bar pull + 6 in flush pull, the medium set uses an 11 in bar + 6 in flush pull, and the large set uses a 16 in bar + 12 in flush pull. If you're ordering the flush pull separately, a 6 in works well for most standard doors; the 12 in suits wider doors or installations where a more prominent visual weight on the wall-facing side is intentional.

All four Goldberg Brothers flush pull styles share the same dimensions, mortise, and finish options — the only difference is the shape of the faceplate. The Square Corner has the tightest corner radius — the most geometric, architectural profile of the four. The Partial Radius softens the corners further with a larger radius. The Full Radius eliminates corners entirely with a single curve at top and bottom. The Full Radius with Wings adds rectangular sections that flare from the sides of the full radius shape.

The mortise requires a precise routed recess in the door face — 5 × 2 × 1/2 in deep for the 6 in pull, or 11 × 2 × 1/2 in deep for the 12 in pull. The Goldberg Brothers acrylic router template is designed specifically for these dimensions and includes an insert for both sizes. It's not strictly required, but routing freehand without it makes a clean result much harder. See our router template.
