Most standard barn doors work perfectly. However, because the doors overlap on a single rail, we recommend using doors that are flat or have low-profile designs. Overly thick or "chunky" decorative trim on the door faces may interfere with the bypass glide.

For proper coverage and aesthetic appeal, we recommend an overlap of approximately 2in from the door to opening. Between doors, depending on the hanger, you will need a minimum of 6 or 9 inches. This ensures that when the doors are "closed," there is no visible gap into the room or closet behind them.
