Bypass barn door kits include solid pine door panels and Quick Ship bypass hardware — panels, tracks, rollers, floor guide, and all mounting hardware in one purchase. Single bypass and double bypass configurations available for openings where wall clearance is limited on both sides — closets, laundry rooms, hallways, pantries, and room dividers. Standard sizing only, available finished and unfinished. Common Questions

Single bypass uses one shared track — one push moves both doors simultaneously via a telescoping mechanism. Double bypass uses two independent parallel tracks — each door operates separately. Double bypass requires less wall clearance when stacking; single bypass requires more. See our bypass guide for a full comparison.

Soft close is not selectable on the product page but is available for double bypass configurations as a separate purchase — email us at info@thebarndoorhardwarestore.com to add it to your order. Soft close is not available for single bypass.

Standard sizes only. Custom panel dimensions are not available — if you need a non-standard size, source panels locally and order hardware separately from our bypass hardware collection.

If you order unfinished panels, yes — apply paint or stain before installation. Finished panels are ready to hang.

Handles and a latch — both separate purchases. Soft close is available for double bypass via email request.
